The One Secret About Ad-Trackers - Those Pay Services Don’t Want You To Know!

An Ad Tracker for an online Address is like filling out a mail forwarding card with your post office. You know when you move you go to the post office and fill out a little card and all your mail magically shows up at your new address. Ad Trackers allow you to have an unlimited number of address for each web page address you want to send visitors too. Besides redirecting your visitors to the page of your choice these ad-trackers often count how many visitors came to your page for that ad tracking link.

Running an Internet business without an Ad Tracking links is like running a store without a cash register or inventory control system. A successful online business may have many types of advertising Pay Per Clicks, Ezine Ads, Solo Ads, Banners, Text Ads and Many others. By using a separate Ad-Tracker for each campaign you can see how effective each ad and or ad source is. You obviously want to spend more money on the effective methods and less or no money on the other methods.

Their are many good free and paid ad tracking services on the Internet and I use many of them. The Big Problem with these services is ‘They Got You’. Once you start using an Ad tracking service it is very hard if not impossible to change. As an Example you write an Article and post it on 50 Article submission sites. Your Article resource box contains Ad Tracking links. Sure you can go back to all 50 article submission sites and change those ad trackers but what about all the web publishers that have re posted your article in there Ezine, Blogs and web pages.

You can actually create your own ad trackers in less then 5 minutes. An Ad tracker can be created by using a Meta Refresh Tag in the header and a Java script page counter (often available for free on the Internet). By setting up your own Ad-Trackers you are no longer at the mercy of those pay services.

Making Money Fast With Google And Clickbank

Making a quick buck combining the power of Google and Clickbank is an attainable goal, if you have the right tools.

The first thing you will need to do is sign up for a Google Adsense account. This shouldn’t take more than half an hour even if you are new to the system. Having an Adsense account means that Google will provide you with a code that you can place on any of your websites which will generate ads specifically targeted to the content of your website.

When your website visitors click on those ads you will receive a certain amount of money every time someone clicks. That can be as little as .05 cents per click but sometimes can run as high as $2.50 per click.

That may not seem like much, but if you are receiving 10,000 hits a month already on your website and you have even a descent click-through rate (CTR) of 5% and you are getting 50 cents per click, then you will be making $250 per month with very little effort on your part.

If you don’t already have a website with traffic you will need to create one before Google will accept your Adsense account. Then you will need to learn traffic generation techniques.

You can supplement that income by adding in “affiliate links” from Clickbank. Clickbank is an online marketplace that sells digital products such as e-books.

Signing up to their program shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. Once you are a member you can sell any of the Clickbank products through your own unique affiliate link. This link directs the one who clicked it to the product you’ve recommended. If they buy the product, you will receive commission ranging from 50%-75%. I don’t believe you will find a higher commission for an affiliate anywhere else on the internet.

The key here, however will be relevance. Take time to ensure that the products from Clickbank that you promote are directly related to the content of your website.

Be sure to make a strong call to action on your site for them to check out the product. Relevance and a strong call to action are two major keys to turning browsers into buyers who make you money fast.

Sick of money making scams? If it’s too good to be true it probably is. Start getting the REAL knowledge and skills you need to start to making money fast with clickbank and google by going to http://www.onbeingrich.com today.

Cheap Web Hosting’s Hidden Pitfall

It seems like not that many years ago the average cost of a web hosting service was $50.00 or more per month. Fortunately, over the years, as newer and more efficient technology emerged, and competition grew nearly as fast as the Internet itself, the cost of web hosting has plummeted. Now, even with the smallest of budgets, just about anyone can start an online business or just use the web for personal use.

Along with new technology and user-friendly tools, the need for technical expertise to build a website is no longer necessary, or at least for most people, a quality and attractive web site can be built with just the most basic knowledge of HTML.

When you select any web host, be sure that you will be provided with the tools that will best serve you. Make sure that you have adequate support available and do your best to see what other sites they host. You might even consider emailing other customers and politely request their opinions of the service.

But where are the dangers in cheap hosting? The danger comes because many people don’t understand the very basics of hosting. The majority of people with limited technical knowledge will only look at the amount of space that they are provided with each account. Many “cheap hosts” provide large amounts of space. Plenty of room for graphics, music, streaming video and much more.

So what’s the problem? A lot of space for your files sounds like a great deal. Theoretically it is a good deal. However, only considering storage space, when selecting a web host can cost you dearly. When looking at the web hosting offer the additional consideration you must consider is bandwidth normally referred to as “transfer” and usually misunderstood by many unsuspecting newcomers.

Simply stated, bandwidth, or transfer is the amount of data that is being transferred from your web hosting service through the network to your web site visitor. In other words, let’s suppose that you have a movie on your web site that is 3 gigabytes. A visitor to your site downloads or streams the movie through the network. You just used 3 gigabytes of your monthly allotted bandwidth or transfer.

Now let’s suppose that you have ten such movies on your web site and each movie is downloaded to a visitor ten times a day. Let’s add the amount of bandwidth you’ll use. Let’s assume you have 10 movies of 3 gigabytes each for a total of 30 gigabytes. Each of your 10 visitors downloads all 10 of your movies. Each visitor will use 30 gigabytes of your monthly allotment. That would be a total of 300 gigabytes for that one day. In 5 days, that would be 1500 gigabytes of bandwidth.

Herein is the pitfall, the web host will in all likely-hood not shut down your site once you exceed your monthly allotment. In fact, most web hosts will present that feature as a positive.

However, they will charge you for each gigabyte used over and above your monthly allotment. If you have significant traffic to your site, and large files to be transferred, you could well find yourself with an enormous monthly hosting charge. Since the web hosting company will in all probability have your credit or debit card on file, as well as, fine print that allows them to charge addition transfer costs to your account without your prior approval, you may very well find out that your so-called cheap hosting company is anything but cheap.

The lesson to learn here is quite simple. Read the fine print in every transaction. A cheap web host may be the perfect solution for some. But for others it could be the difference between staying on line or having to shut down.

David Hiller is an experienced web marketer and website designer. He learned his lesson the hard way, through much trial and error. Not being able to understand the fine points of web hosting can mean the difference between a successful web based business and failure. On his website, http://www.better-hosts.com he breaks down the basics in easy to understand articles. http://www.better-hosts.com is not the usual web host review site that gives A+ ratings to every host for a quick commission. It is a site that covers a wide array of aspects about hosting and what services you should look for before committing to a service.

Beyond AdSense: Make Money with eBay by Adding Niche Stores to Your Sites and Blogs

We all know that Google’s AdSense program is a simple and effective way to monetize content-rich websites and blogs, especially those that focus on a specific, narrow niche that a lot of advertisers target. But even high-earning AdSense sites can benefit from fresh, relevant content, and one of the easiest ways to do so is by adding eBay mini-stores to the sites to make money with eBay’s affiliate program. An automatically updated niche eBay store gives your visitors, including the search engines, another reason to revisit your site on a regular basis. And by basing those stores on eBay’s huge list of product categories you’re assured that only listings that fit with your niche ever get shown on your site.

Grabbing eBay Data

Now, if you’re a programmer you could use eBay web services to add a mini-store to your site, but that requires a lot of work. An easier way to do it is via eBay’s RSS feed generator, which lets you create custom searches whose results are returned as an RSS feed, which you can then transform into HTML for inclusion on your site.

That’s pretty powerful stuff, but not everyone’s a programmer. And even programmers don’t necessarily want to spend their time wrestling with feeds in order to get the right eBay data into the right format and onto the right pages of their site. That’s what makes Build A Niche Store so exciting.

Automatic eBay Listings

Build A Niche Store is a script you install on your web server. Don’t worry, installation is dead easy and you don’t need to know anything about PHP (the programming language used to develop the script) to use it on your site. (You don’t even need to know anything about eBay to use it.) Most websites and blogs today support PHP, including the popular WordPress blogging software, so Build A Niche Store (BANS) will work almost anywhere. (Complete installation instructions are provided in the manual that comes with the script.)

After you install BANS, you activate your niche eBay store by loading the setup page into your web browser and filling in a few simple details, including the name of your store and the number of the eBay category you want your listings to come from. For example, if you wanted to feature electric guitar listings on your site you would set the store name to something like “Cool Guitars” and category number 33034. Plug in your eBay affiliate ID and a few other details and you’re done.

Once activated, the script continually grabs the latest listings for that category from eBay and formats them for display on the page as a niche store. Visitors can click the listings in your mini-store to see the full details on eBay’s site. Meanwhile, you have a page whose content changes frequently and is always extremely relevant to the niche you’ve chosen.

Build A Niche Store is very customizable. You can modify the look and feel of your store by changing the predefined store template. This makes it easy to integrate the niche store right into your existing site or blog. You can even link to custom keyword-driven listing pages from the other parts of your site, so if you had an article that mentioned a Fender electric guitar you could easily insert a link in the article that displayed all the Fender guitars currently available on eBay.

Oh, and you can have more than one store on the same site. And you can use Build A Niche Store across all your sites without paying anything extra.

Money, Money, Money

But the eBay listings aren’t just there for search engine optimization purposes, or to create content that draws visitors back to your site — although those are great benefits in and of themselves. They’re also there to earn you money, just like the AdSense ads.

You see, by directing traffic to eBay’s site, eBay will pay you part of the money they get from any winning bid you referred to them via your eBay store. And they’ll pay you for referring new customers, too. It can be quite lucrative, especially in hot and high-priced product categories.

Even better, you can even integrate AdSense ads directly into the eBay product listings. Those ads will be super-targeted because of all the relevant content that surrounds them, giving you yet another way to make money from your eBay store. The positions and formats of the AdSense ads are completely customizable, of course.

Think Narrow, But Think Big

It’s hard to compete against the big companies that dominate the Web, but you don’t need a large site to make money with eBay and AdSense. All you need is super-focused content that attracts very targeted traffic, and a way to monetize that traffic. Build A Niche Store and AdSense are both great (and complementary) ways to do this.
