Affiliate Marketing-Make 5 Figure Incomes

Have you been wondering how so many people are easily making 5 figure incomes on the internet today? It is really a set up type of business and then waits for the money to come in. If this intrigues you then you may want to stick around what I am about to tell you. Affiliate marketing is the way that people are able to become so rich on the internet today. Most people will tend to quit there day jobs because they realize that they are starting to easily make more money then they are at their jobs. This is a job that does not require a high school diploma or a college degree. In fact, with out those to degrees, you can still make more then a doctor does!

Now, one thing that I must tell you before we go way too far into this is that this is an easy job but, it doesn’t make money for those who just sit around. By easy I mean by putting in at least 3-5 hours a day into your business. Remember that without you have any people get to your affiliate links, you will never make a sale. A lot of the time in the beginning you will have to set up your site and make sure that you get a steady flow of traffic to it. When this happens then the easy money will roll on in.

So, you may or may not know what affiliate programs are. For those of you that don’t know, it is a product that you can sell that was made by someone else. When you sell the product through the link that they give you, you will make a commission off of it. You can find these products through certain sites like ClickBank or Commission Junction. You can do a search for a niche product in there and then create a link for you to start using it.

Make sure that you choose a product that belongs in a niche that you have some type of knowledge in. This is because the main way to make money on the internet is to provide content. Without content there will be no money. You will need to write a few articles on how that niche will help someone and then you can recommend your affiliate product at the end of your article.

So, always remember that you need to put effort into this business in order to go a long way with it. Affiliate Marketing is the most profitable way to make a living on the web but, if you never have people coming to visit your links and have a lack of traffic you will never make money. Good luck with starting up your new business online!

SEO Articles That Sell Much More Must Have This Marketing Strategy

Admittedly there are plenty of people out there who do not even believe that articles are a very powerful selling tool if you know how to use them. In fact when you do a little key word research and come up with an article that not only sells but is also search engine optimized, the effect can be quite dramatic on your sales.

The simple secret that will make the difference for your article between selling nothing and selling tens of thousands of dollars worth of product has to do with the readership you target for your SEO article.

Every article has a target audience and the way to attract that intended audience is through the headline that you choose. A headline is essentially supposed to flag the kind of people who will benefit most from your piece.

A general title will attract a larger audience but very little or no sales while a title that is targeted at a smaller niche will be read by fewer people but will sell much more mainly because the audience you attract will be much more captive. It is as simple as that.

Unfortunately the most common mistake made by most ghost writers or web masters is to be as general as possible with their articles in the hope that they will attract as many people as possible to their article. Little do they realize that attracting more people does not mean selling more. In fact test after test that I have carried out shows that the more general the article, the less it sells even if it attracts an impressive number of readers.

Internet Marketing Article Report - Why I Market Exclusively With Articles

There are many different ways to do internet marketing. Article marketing is one of my favourite methods of doing internet marketing as this is one of the easiest methods that even a beginner can succeed with.

Let us look at the most common ways that people use to market their internet business. Ppc advertising is very quick to setup and drive targeted traffic quickly to your web site. The big disadvantage with this method of internet marketing is that you need to be willing to spend thousands of dollars to test and track which keywords actually convert. This can be very daunting for a beginner.

Ezine advertising also brings in results quickly. However the disadvantage is that often you need to book your adverts weeks or months in advance. You also need to be very good at copywriting so that your emails actually get read and convert to customers. You also need to track and test everything so that you only continue advertising in related ezines that are actually profitable.

Search engine optimization is another method that can be used that is effective. However the disadvantage here is that for a new web site it can take up to a year to get good search engine rankings and with the frequent changes in the search engine algorithms your business can be wiped out if you lose your rankings.

Let us look at my favourite method of internet marketing. With article marketing the disadvantage is that you need to spend a lot of time to write the articles. However, once you have written and submitted your articles to the major article directories they are viral in nature. They get picked up by other webmasters that publish them on their web sites. I would much rather have different sources of traffic than just rely on one source alone which can be very risky. You also get traffic from search engines as they spider your articles in the search engine directories.

It is probably the most reliable method of generating quality traffic to a web site. This method of marketing has been so effective for me that I have stopped ppc and ezine advertising long ago.

SEO Tips - 3 Steps to SEO Made Easy (Part 1)

“SEO Made Easy”. Most of us want our site or blog to rank high in the search results on Search Engines like Google or Yahoo for our chosen keywords. We want lot’s of relevant visitors to our site, and we can provide them great value, and ultimately, increase our blog monetization.

It’s all about relevance here… We want Google or Yahoo to “decide” what our web page is all about, accurately and relevantly (is that a valid word ;-) ), and return our site as results ON THE 1ST PAGE preferably to users that search the keywords and phrases relevant to our site!

So, let’s see how we can improve our SEO… and hopefully, I can make it easy for you. Let’s start:

Step #1 - Choose Your Keyword

When we are writing a post, choosing your keyword may look like a simple step, but choosing the right keywords would mean whether your post is on the 1st page in Google or in page 101 or worse appear in the most irrelevant pages. Let’s do it right… consider the questions:

How popular are the keywords or phrases?

In other words, how many times do people search for this keyword? Generally, if no one (or very few people) is searching for a keyword, it’s not as valuable. We should aim for keywords with a count of above 5000 for the past month. Do not bother about keywords below 5000. You can go to http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion for your keywords.

How competitive are the words?

How many other sites are trying to rank for the same keywords. Generally, the more competition there is for a keyword, the harder it is going to be to rank for it. Let’s look for competition less than 5 million and going under 3 million is best due to less competition. Check the number of Google results for the keywords at the top left corner of Google. Results 1 - 10 of about 5,000,000 for means that there are 5 million competing websites with the searched keyword.

It’s best if you can find words that are popular with less competition. That is why it pays to spend a lot of time in researching your keywords. You will be surprised at the untapped gems or niches that you may find.

Step #2 - On-Page Optimization

Now you have your keywords, how to optimize them on your blog post or web page?

  1. Page or Post Title This is most important as users look at it to know instantly what a page is about. The title is used in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). If you want a high click-thru rate, try putting together a page title that is CATCHY but at the same time relevant to your post.An example: “Atomic Blogging - The inside and out of atomic blogging.” The main keyword is [atomic blogging]. Its a good title because the main keyword is repeated once as the first phrase, and once later in the sentence. Try doubling your keywords and get good results in Google.
  2. Body Text You want to keep paragraphs short (short paragraphs help hold the attention of readers). Use your keyword as much as you can… especially in the first 20 words of your post. However, don’t overuse your keyword as it may result in an Over Optimization Penalty (OOP).
  3. First Sentence of the Body Text Use your keyword somewhere in the first sentence of the body text. This reinforces to the search engine the fact that the keyword is important.
  4. URL/ File Name If your page is about “Atomic Blogging”, then you would name the page atomic-blogging.html. Always make sure to use a hyphen “-” and not an underscore “_” (most search engines have a hard time with underscores). Do not even think about using a space.
  5. Meta Tags (Meta Description and Meta Keywords) Meta tags are located in the tags. They are invisible to users, and are used strictly by some search engines. - Meta Description: A descriptive sentence that describes your page. Make sure to use your keyword. - Meta Keywords: Include a list of keywords. The best way is to write your body text, and then select keywords from that text.

Experiment with the above. It’s not a exhaustive list of things that you can do to improve your SEO, but it’s essential.

Pay Per Click Advertising and Marketing

When I think of Pay Per Click, I think of a marketing strategy that has two different sides - one where you pay for published ads and one where you get paid for publishing ads. Somebody is always paying for the click, whether it is you clicking on someone’s ad or another person clicking on your ad. Pay Per Click depends on how you look at who is paying.

If you use Google to search the internet then you may find that your search results include “Sponsored Links” (on the right hand side of the search results page). If you click on any of the Sponsored links, the advertiser that placed the ad you clicked must pay Google for that click. If the advertiser is you, you are the one that pays. The price that you would pay depends on how much you have bid on the keywords used to generate the ad. This marketing tactic is called Google Adwords.

In addition to the ads being displayed with the search results, Google allows owners of websites and Blogs to display the same ads as contextual ads. Contextual refers to content that relates to the subject of your web page. This system is called Google Adsense. Each time a visitor clicks on an ad Google pays the owner of the website for that click. If you have traffic going to your web site and you display the Google Adsense Ads on a page and someone clicks an ad, you make money.

Note that Google Adwords and Google Adsense compliment each other and are in fact, the inverse of each other.

Google Adwords Pay Per Click is a good way to get quick targeted traffic to your website. Because you are paying for an ad promoting your site or affiliate link, those that click your ad will be directed to your site. The efficiency of your ad (click through rate or CTR) will depend on the ad copy and the keywords. The keywords that you have in the ads that are searched for dictate when your ad is displayed.

Google Adsense is a good way to make an “automatic” recurring income. Automatic assuming your ads are getting the clicks and generating the income you expect. Some tweaking of the ad placement, colors, etc. may be neccessary for optimization. When a Google Adsense ad on your site is clicked, both you and Google make a split percentage of the total of the bid price for the keyword that the ad was displayed and clicked for.

Another type of ad that is gaining in popularity is the Chitika eMiniMall. Chitika eMiniMalls are advertisements that display a picture and a description of the product, the best deals where the product can be purchased and a search feature. If you want to display Google Adsense ads and Chitika ads on the same web page, Google requires specific modifications to the Chitika ads.

Both Yahoo and Microsoft are in beta right now with their own equivalent to Google Adsense. The Yahoo ad network is called Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) and Microsoft’s network is called Adcenter. I have not tried these networks out yet, but I may find myself doing that if I find that ad clicks yield a higher amount or percentage to the web site publisher.

There are several other pay per click networks available to try as well. Some of these would be RevenuePilot, Bidclix, CBclicks, Adsclick and Bidvertiser. I am sure there are even more than this. If you are interested, search them out and see if they fit for your own website’s use.
