It’s a wave that’s sweeping the Internet and there’s money to be made. Not only that, but blogs are remarkably low-cost, often zero cost. There are a number of sites that have been set up to allow you to quickly and easily set up your blog. It’s a like a partnership. If you write interesting content in your blog that attracts visitors, your blogging host will take care of alerting the search engines and similar entities that you exist. 1. Set your blog up
Take a moment to think about what you want to write about. Make something of interest to people on the Internet and also to yourself. 3. Install the money maker
You’ll be able to make money by attracting readers to your blog and by placing advertisements in or around the text that you have put there. The king of online advertising for blogs is currently Google with their AdSense system. You will need to sign up for an AdSense account (go to http://adsense.google.com) and use their ads creating system to make your ads. What this system does is to create a snippet of web code. You copy the snippet from your AdSense account and paste it into the relevant place in your blog page.

4. Start making money
Google automatically looks after displaying ads that are in tune with the content of your site. By the way, this is a big hint to make sure that you’re targeting a specific subject and not just blogging about anything you happen to be thinking about. When visitors come to your site and click on the ads, Google pays you a share of the advertising revenue (think in terms of cents per click to start with).

5. Keep on making money
Write more content. Encourage your readers to leave comments and messages that add to the quality of your blog. Keep them coming back for more to read by using an RSS feed to tell them that there is something new. Keep it up as a regular activity and when it takes off, you can also make a second blog, and a third…
